A Thousand Miles or More is an original song by FinTan guitarist Patrick Savelli. It describes an Irish boy leaving Ireland during the famine and then his descendent returning generations later to see where his family is from. It was inspired by a trip the band took to Ireland and in particular visiting the famine villages along the Ring of Kerry.
